What You Need to Know Before You Download Device Unlock
If you purchased your device from Sprint, please follow the steps outlined below to determine your eligibility for device unlocking. In order to unlock a mobile device that is not sold or authorized by Sprint, you need to contact the mobile carrier or manufacturer who sold you the device.
After May 1st, 2023, certain hotspot devices previously activated on the Sprint network that are not compatible with the T-Mobile network will no longer be supported. These devices will not be able to access the network or be unlocked. If you need assistance, please contact Care.

Once a device becomes eligible for unlocking (eligibility criteria are described below), Sprint will automatically and remotely unlock the device within two business days if the device supports remote unlock.
Some devices cannot be remotely unlocked by Sprint. In these cases, Sprint will send a notification to the device within two business days of it becoming eligible, with next steps to complete the unlock process.
For inactive devices, customers must contact Sprint Customer Care to request that their unlock-capable device be unlocked and may have to take steps to perform an over-the-air update to ensure the unlock programming has been relayed to the device. Additional validation may be required to ensure eligibility.
Sprint greatly appreciates the service that our U.S. military men and women provide at home and abroad. For military personnel deployed overseas, Sprint has established a favorable unlocking policy, and will unlock devices that meet these criteria:
Military personnel deployed overseas can contact Sprint Worldwide Care to unlock their device. Sprint Worldwide Care can be reached via chat or email from sprint.com/swwsupport or by calling 888-226-7212.
Sprint may refuse any unlock request that would result in an abuse of these policies or that is part of an effort to defraud Sprint or its customers. These policies are subject to change at Sprint's discretion without advance notice.
Sprint makes no guarantee that an unlocked device will work on another carrier's network. Whether another carrier will accept and activate a device is subject to that carrier's policies and capabilities. Additionally, unlocking a device may enable some functionality of the device but not all (e.g., an unlocked device may support voice services but not data services when activated on a different network). Please also note that Sprint devices which the owner has attempted to reprogram or activate on another carrier's network or otherwise altered from its initial programming or settings may not be able to be reactivated on the Sprint network.
For devices that are not SIM Unlock-capable, Sprint may be able to provide a Master Subsidy Lock ("MSL") code to eligible customers. The MSL code was utilized to lock many devices manufactured prior to February 2015. For these MSL-based devices, Sprint will provide a bill notification and/or text message with next steps when you are eligible to receive your MSL code. While Sprint can provide the MSL code to eligible customers, as noted above, this does not mean that the device will be accepted by another carrier or interoperate with another carrier's network, which is subject to that carrier's policies and capabilities.

To unlock the AWS Snowball Edge device, run the snowballEdge unlock-device command. To run this command, the AWS Snowball Edge device that you use for your job must be on site, plugged into power and network, and turned on. In addition, the LCD display on the front of the AWS Snowball Edge device must indicate that the device is ready for use.
Download a copy of the manifest from the AWS Snow Family Management Console. Your job's manifest is encrypted so that only the job's unlock code can decrypt it. Make a note of the path to the manifest file on your local server.
In this example, the IP address for the device is 192.0.2.0, the job manifest file that you downloaded is JID2EXAMPLE-0c40-49a7-9f53-916aEXAMPLE81-manifest.bin, and the 29-character unlock code is 12345-abcde-12345-ABCDE-12345.
After you erase your iPhone, you can restore your data and settings from a backup. If you didn't back up your iPhone, you can set it up as a new device and then download any data that you have in iCloud.
Authentication applications are downloaded to your device and generate secure, six-digit codes you use to sign in to your accounts. While authentication applications are not protected if your device is lost or stolen, this method offers more security than phone calls or text messaging against phishing, hacking, or interception.
A security key is typically an external physical device, like a USB, that you plug into your computer. The key is linked to your accounts and will only grant access to those accounts once the key is plugged in and activated. Since a security key does not rely on your cell phone, it has the highest level of protection against phishing and built-in protections against hacking if it is lost or stolen.
If you select this less secure option, Login.gov will generate a set of ten codes. After you sign in with your username and password, you will be prompted for a code. Each code may be used only once. When the tenth code has been used you will be prompted to download a new list. Treat your recovery codes with the same level of care as you would your password.
You can only use face or touch unlock on a device that supports this feature. You will not see this option in the list of authentication options if your device does not have this capability. We do not store your fingerprints or images.
This page contains full OTA update packages that allow you to restore your Nexusor Pixel device's original factory firmware. You will find these files usefulif you have experienced a failure to take an OTA. This has the same effect asflashing the corresponding factory image, but without the need to wipe thedevice or unlock the bootloader.
These files are for use only on your personal Nexus or Pixel device and may notbe disassembled, decompiled, reverse engineered, modified or redistributed byyou or used in any way except as specifically set forth in the license termsthat came with your device.
The Plex for Android app is available to download for free from the Google Play or Amazon app stores. While many features of the app are available to use for free and users can test out all of the features, there are playback limitations when streaming from a Plex Media Server unless the app is unlocked.
If your Plex account is a member of a Plex Home and the admin of the Plex Home has an active Plex Pass subscriptoin, that will also unlock the Plex for Android app for you, while you remain in the Plex Home. To do so, simply sign in to the app using your Plex account.
The purchase is tied to your app store account. You can download and use on any Android device with the app store you originally purchased it from with the app store account you purchased it with. For instance, if you purchase the app through Google Play, then the purchase will apply to any Android device using the same Google Play account. The purchase does not extend to a different Google Play account, nor does it extend to other app stores, such as Amazon or iTunes.
Windows Hello for Business supports the use of a single credential (PIN and biometrics) for unlocking a device. Therefore, if any of those credentials are compromised (shoulder surfed), an attacker could gain access to the system.
Windows Hello for Business can be configured with multi-factor unlock, by extending Windows Hello with trusted signals. Administrators can configure devices to request a combination of factors and trusted signals to unlock them.
First unlock factor credential provider and Second unlock credential provider are responsible for the bulk of the configuration. Each of these components contains a globally unique identifier (GUID) that represents a different Windows credential provider. With the policy setting enabled, users unlock the device using at least one credential provider from each category before Windows allows the user to proceed to their desktop.
The First unlock factor credential providers and Second unlock factor credential providers portion of the policy setting each contain a comma separated list of credential providers.
Configure a comma separated list of credential provider GUIDs you want to use as first and second unlock factors. While a credential provider can appear in both lists, a credential supported by that provider can only satisfy one of the unlock factors. Listed credential providers don't need to be in any specific order.
For example, if you include the PIN and fingerprint credential providers in both first and second factor lists, a user can use their fingerprint or PIN as the first unlock factor. Whichever factor you use to satisfy the first unlock factor can't be used to satisfy the second unlock factor. Each factor can therefore be used exactly once. The Trusted Signal provider can only be specified as part of the Second unlock factor credential provider list.
